BARFLIP & GRIDFLIP Explainer Video

I recently put up a YouTube video demonstrating the BARFLIP and GRIDFLIP methods for random but balanced attribute generation. Briefly, these are two methods that let you enjoy rolling for D&D-style attribute scores but constrain the total to 78 points. They involve some rolling, then some flipping.

I've been playing and DMing since the early 80s and had plenty of bad experiences with random rolls, but felt that point-buy and arrays were too... planned. I've been using this method since D&D 3.5 and prefer it to either. If you're a zealous fan of rolls or point-buy and want to purge me for heresy, relax. They're not going anywhere, this is just another way to do things.

13th Age uses a similar method as an option, and I demonstrate that one at the end, as a treat.
